Snorkeling is easy and fun but limited to breath holding. Most people who go snorkeling are limited to remaining on the surface. The ZUBA unit eliminates this problem. Now the snorkeler, with proper education, can dive down and stay down enjoying the reefs and underwater wonders without the hassle and risk of scuba. In addition the ZUBA is a great tool to use while remaining on the surface, as the regulator does not choke and cough water like a snorkel. It really is simple and easy to ZUBA dive.

ZUBA Diving allows dive professionals (instructors and dive shops) to safely provide "Resort Diving" programs to vacationers with significantly reduced risk and increased comfort and ease for their customers. The ZUBA unit not only relieves the customers (diver) of the heavy weight of scuba tanks on their back and the cumbersome feeling of equipment "yanking" them around underwater. Zuba increases safety in multiple ways. Usually, a Resort Program is conducted with two customers (divers) to one instructor. In ZUBA these customers are tethered to the raft and cannot get lost or go deeper than 20ft/6m, so risk is minimized. Most importantly, when they are wearing a 3mm wetsuit or less, they will not have a BCD or other equipment to risk a sudden loss of buoyancy and rapid ascent to the surface. If a 7mm wetsuit or drysuit is used a BCD is required along with extra student training. Therefore, they can enjoy the "Experience" and feeling of diving without the risk.
