Bilingual Kids Foreign Language Enrichmeet Provides kids chance to learn Spanish Research shows that from birth to approximately 12 years of age, there is a great deal of neurogenesis, or “pathway development,” taking place in a child’s brain. When a child is exposed to the sounds of a second language, the brain will grow connections that make a new language easier to learn.
The program is dedicated to ensure that each and every child learns a foreign language from a native language teacher in a fun and engaging
“We really wanted our 6 year old to be in a foreign language program because we know that data supports starting children young in their second language. With 50% of our San Diego population Spanish speakers, we knew we wanted a Spanish program but worried that the lack of reinforcement at home would guarantee failure for our child. Seniora “Z” (Sharon Zeichner, to us English speakers) has held parent/child play dates to help us with our pronunciation and provided us with recorded materials to help enhance our son’s learning. We feel much more comfortable practicing Spanish at home when we know how to say the words as well.
